Invitations

The Invitations tab allows owners to manage user invitations to join the Extension Kit portal.

Invitations list

The Invitations list displays all invitations sent to users to join the portal. You can hover over the header to use the sorting column arrow. The following information appears:

Field Description
Email Email address of the invited user.
Role Role assigned to the invited user. It can be None, Reader, Contributor or Owner.
Tenant Tenant to which the user is invited.
Expires on Date and time when the invitation expires.
Status Status of the invitation. It can be:
- Pending: Sent but not accepted.
- Accepted: Accepted by the user.
- Revoked: Revoked by an administrator.
Last access Date, time and user who last edited or sent the invitation.

Send invitations

To send a new invitation, select the Send invitations button and the Invite user modal will open.

The Invite user modal requires the following information:

Field Description
Tenant The tenant to which the user is invited. This field is prepopulated with the current tenant, open the drop-down to select a different one. Available only for administrators.
Email Enter the email to send the invitation. This will also be the log in email for the user.
Role The role that the user will have in the portal. It can be None, Reader, Contributor or Owner.

After you filled them in, select the + Add button to enable the Send button. You can add several invitations before sending them. Once you have sent the invitations, you will not be able to edit or resend the invitation for a minute. After that time, you can edit or resend the invitation if needed.

Edit invitations

To edit an existing invitation, select the invitation you want to edit from the Invitations list. This will open the Edit invitation modal with the invitation details pre-filled.

The Edit invitation modal has the following information:

Field Description
Email Read-only field with the email address of the invited user.
Role Select a new role from the drop-down.

Select the Save button to resend the invitation. Once you resend it, you will not be able to edit or resend the invitation for a minute. After that time, you can edit or resend the invitation again if needed.

Resend invitations

Resending an invitation is only available for Pending invitations. Select the Resend button available in the invitation entry in the Invitations list.

Once you resend it, you will not be able to edit or resend the invitation for a minute. After that time, you can edit or resend the invitation again if needed.

Revoke invitations

Revoking an invitation is only available for Pending invitations. Select the Revoke button available in the invitation entry in the Invitations list.

A revoked invitation cannot be deleted, as this ensures the system maintains a complete history of all invitation actions (sending, resending, revoking).

Delete invitations

Deleting an invitation is only available for Pending invitations. Select the Delete button available in the invitation entry in the Invitations list.

This will remove the invitation from the list and it will no longer be accessible.
