Limits and regulations

⚠️ Disclaimer: These limits are indicative and may be adjusted by Unit4 at any time where enforcement of fair usage is required to secure stable operation of the shared environment for all tenants.

Usage limits

Unit4 operates in a multi-tenant environment and applies fair use limits to prevent any single tenant from consuming too many shared resources. When you exceed a limit, Unit4 will take corrective measures. For more information about fair usage, refer to the Unit4 Service Terms – SaaS.

Data product subscription limits

These limits ensure fair access to pipeline processing capacity across all tenants.

Maximum frequency upgrades to Daily	20 products on Daily, rest Weekly/Monthly
Subscription activation rate	Maximum 5 new subscriptions per 24 hours

Initial ingestion (first batch upon subscription)

These limits protect database performance during first-time data loads.

Maximum rows per first ingestion job	50 million rows per data product
Maximum first ingestion duration	4 hours

Data processing pipeline

This limit protects the shared overnight processing window used by all tenants in the shared environment.

ERPx database size range limit

Apart from the fair usage limits, Unit4 applies Unit4 ERPx database size range limits for Production Environments of the Data Hub – Bulk Data Access Service size according to the table below.
