Administrator toolkit

Configuration changes to Unit4 Identity Services (U4IDS) are done through the Administration Web API. There are three clients for the Admin API:

• .NET Client SDK for programmatic configuration
• Powershell commandlets using the U4.IdentityServices.PowerShell module
• Through the administration portal

The U4IDS contains the following configurational data:

• Clients (list of applications that are allowed to authenticate using U4IDS)
• Scopes (defines partitions of resources that clients can access)
• Tenants (defines external Identity Providers)
• Secrets for clients and scopes (optional)
