A client is a piece of software that requests tokens from Unit4 Identity Services (U4IDS), either for authenticating a user or for accessing a resource (also often called a relying party or RP). A client must be registered with U4IDS.
Examples of clients are web applications, native mobile or desktop applications, SPAs, server processes etc.
Configuring client properties
When a client is registered with U4IDS you can configure its properties to control the behavior and aspects related to authentication, tokens etc. For further details about client properties, see the client configuration guide. For details about how to register a client, see client registration.
